What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst (Security Clearance Required) position at CACI?
CACI is seeking an Business Analyst (IT Projects) to join our IT support and services team on a large contract supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The Business Analyst will work with the team to collect and define client requirements, coordinate and document IT program and project activities, analyze business and technical processes, and provide overall program and project support.
About the Role:
Provide operational program and project support to program manager, project manager, and senior business analyst
Collect and define requirements with government clients, system owners, and business partners
Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information process systems
Maintain overall schedule of projects, maintenance, and operational activities
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ascertain system requirements such as functions, input data, output data, techniques, controls, User Acceptance Testing criteria, and execution of user’s acceptance
Help team members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate
Support and enforce Scrum and change management processes
Facilitate ceremonies to include sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retro
Work with stakeholders to develop stories
Coordinate testing activities and document outcomes
Manage and maintain program/project artifacts, assets, and Knowledge Base
Develop and produce documentation, reports, and presentation slide decks
Track risks and opportunities within assigned projects
Conduct Quality Reviews of documentation to identify improvements opportunities
Apply business concepts and theories to real-world decision making
Collect and maintain program/project metrics and develop improvements in metrics
Create and distribute project & operational reports as requested
Facilitate project activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
Host and facilitate daily/weekly/monthly project/operational meetings with government and contractors
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
Ability to obtain a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 4 years’ experience.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft products such as Excel (pivot tables and charts), PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Visio
Ability to lead and facilitate meetings with government and contractor stakeholders
Understanding of change management processes
Understanding of Project Management methodologies both Agile and Waterfall
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in interpersonal and written formats
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Scrum Master
ITILv4 Foundation’s certification
Understanding of IT services and support
Previous JIRA and ServiceNow experience
Previous DHS or Federal Government experience
