Job Description
CACI is searching for a Business Development Executive to support growth in the areas of Tactical Solutions development and integration for DOD and Intelligence Community customers. These tactical solutions are hardware and software based and are focused in the areas of tasking, collection, processing, and exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) of data. Emphasis is on integrating these solutions into ground system, aviation, and maritime platforms. As a BD Executive, you will leverage experience and relationships within the DOD and/or IC and across industry to identify, qualify, develop, shape and win Federally-funded contracts.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Focus on opportunities to deliver capabilities across CACI’s National Security and Innovative Solutions business, specifically in the development and integration of tactical TCPED systems.
- Identify and secure business in the areas of tactical intelligence mission software and hardware development, platform integration; hardware fabrication and manufacturing; engineering and program support; prototyping; integrated lifecycle planning and support; systems engineering and integration; system design and development support; test and evaluation; system integration, sustainment, and fielding.
- Develop a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and implement processes and systems for collection, interpretation, and dissemination of information on those opportunities, in order to develop and make informed recommendations for pursuit and capture.
- Operate within the overall CACI business development processes, philosophy and policies.
- Work closely with BD and Line Organization Executives on new and re-compete business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain "value added" working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including other Business Development team members, Account Executives, Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, and CACI line organizations including Business and Division Group Executives and program management teams to ensure effective, efficient, and integrated implementation of CACI business development strategies
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or functional discipline or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- 10+ years of relevant capability and client experience that demonstrates deep understanding of both the Government Acquisition process as well as Government budget cycle.
- 5+ years of direct business development experience in the Platform Integration market.
- Working knowledge of the DoD budgeting, acquisition, and procurement processes.
- Demonstrated track record of proven success in opportunity identification, qualification and development; and in the design and implementation of sound business development account plans and strategies.
- Experience developing, managing, and closing opportunity pipelines consisting of deals valued greater than $100M.
- Mature understanding of Army, Navy, USAF, and SOCOM organizations and programs
- Existing relationships with key stakeholders in the requirements, science and technology, acquisition, and operational user communities for tactical TCPED solutions.
- Active Top Secret security clearance and eligibility to obtain additional accesses, as required.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of the Federal/DoD budgeting, acquisition, and procurement processes.
- Master’s degree in technical field
- Current SCI eligibility
