Overview:
The Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) is an information technology system within the Defense Medical Logistics – Enterprise Solution (DML-ES) portfolio. The DML-ES portfolio provides medical logistics support for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Veteran’s Administration (VA).
Responsibilities:
- Data migration validation and data migration support
- Cutover conversion support and EHRM testing
- Assist with developing solutions to sustain DMLSS/LogiCole for the VA medical centers
- Provide sustainment assistance for daily DMLSS operations, issue tracking, analytics review, refining business process
- Help organize leadership briefs, project management and end user training for stakeholders/users
- Assist in System Administration and Application Administration roles
- Proactively meet with stakeholders to understand business needs and processes
- Provided assistance with implementing interactive training guides for the adaptation of DMLSS to replace VA legacy applications
- Conduct/Review Daily DMLSS business processes and build BO/BI reports to aid VA
- Product and software demonstration and coordination with VISN
- Serve as a Medical Supply Chain and/or Finance Real Property Subject Matter Expert.
- Analyze user needs to determine functional requirements and define problems and develop plans and requirements
- Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships
- Work with team members to refine tasks into more detail
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of DMLSS experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Agile Development environment
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a NACLC background investigation
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in medical Logistics. DMLSS/LogiCole experience a huge plus.,
- Familiarity with Joint Medical Asset Repository (JMAR)VA, DLA, DHA Logistics, contracts process, and/or VINS
