What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Cloud Engineer – Journeyman, supporting the Managed Information Technology Service (MITS) Information Technology contract at United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) located at Scott AFB, IL. The Cloud Engineer - Journeyman will be responsible for engineering Cloud Solutions in support of the customer. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a professional business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both internal and external executive leadership.
More About the Role:
The successful candidate must be experienced in overseeing the management and supervision of junior personnel. Daily activities include but are not limited to: managing cloud environments in accordance with DoD Policy/guidelines create, test, and implement cloud computing services engineer network changes perform software integration maintaining web-based IaaS and PaaS applications Experience conducting research and implementing industry best practices and security engineering concepts Experience briefing technical and non-technical customers on architecture and risks.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance and if necessary be able to obtain a Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
At least 4 years experience in Cloud Engineering and/or administration.
Meet 8570 IAT requirements.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
Possess an in-depth knowledge of USTRANSCOM methods of ground, naval, and air operations and the systems used to support tactical and operational level intelligence gathering correlation, and dissemination.
Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
Already hold Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
