CACI is offering an exciting opportunity for academically accomplished management and technically oriented Construction Manager to be part of our team, supporting our Modernization and Construction projects around the U.S. and its territories. What You’ll Get to Do:
The Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage all fabrication, preparations, design, permitting, surveys, on-site contractor work, quality control, and other duties, as necessary or directed to be performed across all NPWS projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Task Lead in overseeing and managing all on-site work to be performed under this Task Order
- Assist with the objective to identify, qualify, and secure bids from local contractors for direct procurement by CACI.
- Attend sites visit with FEMA or in lieu of CACI Project Manager as requested.
- Collect and review safety documents, daily reports, images, certified payrolls, etc.
- Collect and/or prepare closeout documents as requested.
- Conduct meetings including design, kick off, and site acceptance as requested.
- Conduct on-site quality assurance inspections as requested to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Create and maintain a database of project documents for access by all parties.
- Facilitate, coordinate and manage drawings, specifications and scope between consultants to ensure the bid packages are complete.
- Review drawings and specifications for completeness and constructability.
- Review schedule timeline and sequence to ensure feasibility of schedule (must be logical and efficient).
- Review and monitor schedule(s) provided by the Contractor.
- Provide a technical analysis of bids received to help determine qualifications of bidders.
- Provide a cost analysis of bids received to help determine if cost is fair and reasonable.
- Facilitate one or more Pre-Bid Conference(s) as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between the parties as requested.
- Provide document management of Submittals and RFIs.
- Participate on weekly calls if, or as requested.
- Review and recommend acceptability of materials, methods, and workmanship.
- Prepare a punch list and oversee completion of the work.
- Perform periodic site visits when, or if, requested.
- Attend site acceptance inspection with CACI and FEMA.
- Other construction related duties as requested.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
- Experience with the installation of NPWS all-hazard shelters used by FEMA, or similar projects.
- Familiar with all aspects of on-site integration work to include RF, power, SATCOM, fuel systems and signal integration with existing systems.
- Extensive experience providing construction management services to Federal Government agencies.
- Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft applications and other Project Manager software such as MS Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- 10 (ten) years of experience in construction management; 3 (three) years’ experience providing subcontract supervision.
- Understand what’s commonly referred to as the “project life cycle,” which consists of five phases (or processes): Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, Closing
- Ability to obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
- Experience in fielding and managing Inside/Outside Plant, Data and Wireless networks.
- Previous work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain certification within first year of employment.
Working Conditions:
- Work is typically performed remotely or in an office environment which requires proper safety precautions. Work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes, or equipment not to exceed 50 lbs.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $74,600-$156,700.
