What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is looking for a Cryptocurrency SME to be a part of our forward leaning task force to help decipher Cryptocurrency transactions and behavior of targeted organizations and or individuals. More About the Role:
As a Cryptocurrency SME, you will be a part of a high-performing team completing assignments related to the DOJ’s Mission. Some travel may be required with this position (Up to 10% / CONUS).
Duties include:
- Cryptocurrency analysis, Blockchain analytics, Open Internet, including social media, Deep and Dark Web intelligence gathering and analysis, data analytics, and electronic evidence analysis related to cybercrime investigations.
- Provide individuals that can perform the services required in one of the areas of SFI, LA, FA, or CFE and be a recognized expert in Virtual/Cryptocurrency.
- Develop training and certification for the Government on this specialized area. Services performed shall demonstrate current industry practices in this emerging technology including obtainment of relevant, current training and certification.
- Organizes and conducts detailed examinations of information generated during complex financial criminal/civil investigations and information available through alternative sources for the purpose of conducting financial analyses of personal/business assets of targeted organizations/individuals.
- Work directly on cases with Federal Agencies agents and partner law enforcement agencies to provide on-site analytical input by leveraging CI-provided data, systems, services, and tools
- Utilize COTS solutions such as Chainalysis other products analyzing Cryptocurrency transactions
- Other duties as assigned
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Ability to successfully obtain a DOJ Public Trust (US Citizenship required).
- University Degree (B.A. / B.S.) and Ten (10) years of relative experience. (Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree; undergraduate degree preferred.)
- Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in specialized areas such as Forfeiture, Organized Crime, White Collar Crime, Fraud, Drug, Money Laundering, or similar area of criminal activity.
- Must be a recognized expert in Virtual/Cryptocurrency.
- Must possess working knowledge of current financial investigative techniques, including the use of commercial databases and other sources of information.
- Experience providing services required in one of the areas of Seized Property Investigator (SPI), Legal Advisor (LA), Forensic Accountant (FA), or Computer Forensics Examiner (CFE) and be a recognized expert in Virtual/Cryptocurrency.
- Some travel may be required with this position (Up to 10% / CONUS).
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Secret Clearance (or) Top Secret Clearance
