We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Data Manager to join our team. In this position, you will identify the most reliable and effective way to securely transfer and store data from various removable media sources and retain them for future retrieval. Additionally, you will maintain the division’s SharePoint site, provide Audio Visual support, assist with inventory, cloud computing and support the operations of our customer in the Performance Assessment department and the U.S. Navy onboard NSWC Corona.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Identify hardware necessary to securely and reliably store media from tapes, drives, CDs and various other types of removable media for future retrieval or archiving
Provide assistance to the Video teleconference program lead to prepare for events and during system maintenance and upgrades
Provide SharePoint site maintenance and administration
Act as MTA/DTA
Provide inventory control and meeting support
Research, identify and implement cloud computing technologies when possible
Assist with the day to day duties of the Performance Assessment Operations Department
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
3 years' experience in SharePoint administration
3 years' experience in file management/storage
3 years' experience in providing Audio Visual hardware and user support
1 year(s) providing inventory control
Strong proficiency in the Windows Computing environment
Must be able to maintain meticulous records and adhere to DoD rules and regulations
Familiarity with cloud computing.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with removable media
Must be a U.S Citizen
