What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry-Level AV Installer position at CACI?
CACI is looking for an entry-level AV installer to provide System integration and onsite installation and Help desk Support for the Army National Guard’s Distributed Learning Program (DLP). This position will entail integrating and configuration of AV control systems and control panels, CODEC’s, Matrix switchers, Projectors and Audio Mixers. The candidate will work closely with a team of System Engineers and the Enterprise Network Operations Center, Program and State Information Assurance teams, and various other groups within the program. The position involves up to 75% travel to the remote sites for classroom installations and hardware refresh efforts. The candidate must be able to keep up with fast paced fielding schedules.
Responsibilities:
This position will serve as an entry-level installer who will be responsible for:
- Audio and Video integration, configuration and installation
- Help Desk duties to include support/troubleshooting trouble tickets Via Phone or VTC
- Device maintenance/Updating
- Documentation writing
Required Skills:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the general IT practices and terminology
- Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong work ethic; self-starter
- Audio Video integration and installation training with AVIXA
- Completed the fundamentals of the AV industry through AVIXA
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of Audio and Video integration and installation process
- Understanding of Audio and Video signal path drawings
- Document writing
- Trouble shooting skills
The Following Certifications are a plus:
- Extron system installer
- Certified AV technologist
- Certified Technology Specialist
Desired Skills:
- System Design
- Ability to create system drawings
- Build of Materials creation
- ITSM
- Service Now
