What You’ll Get to Do
We are seeking a Field Services Technician who will be responsible for providing customer support through the performance of on-site product/solution installation and sustainment. This includes overseeing and/or performing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting of software systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of solution components. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the solution. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers' needs, defines next steps, and clarifies the assignment of responsibility for problem resolution as needed. Includes any aspect of field support and is not limited to system hardware, software, network, and other technical infrastructure components.
More About the Role
Support Military Sealift Command (MSC) Afloat business systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for installing MSC business applications software onboard MSC ships using systems operational procedures to ensure appropriate functioning of software or system functional specifications. Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves issues related to installation and configuration of application software. The ideal candidate is willing to travel internationally. Software installation will be onboard ships.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or other relevant degree fields.
- U.S. Citizen with minimum Secret Clearance
- Possess one of the following certifications:
- CertNexus or Logical Operations Inc: CFR.
- Cisco: CCNA-Security, CCNP-Security or SCYBER.
- CompTIA: A CE, CASP CE, Cloud CE, CySA , Network CE, PenTest or Security CE.
- EC-Council: CEH, CCISO, CHFI or CND.
- GIAC: GCIA, GCED, GCFA, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, GSLC or GSNA.
- (ISC)2: CISSP, CSSLP, CAP, ISSAP, ISSEP, ISSMP, SSCP, CCSP or HCISPP.
- (ISACA): CISM or CISA.
