Job Description
CACI is seeking a Financial Analyst responsible for providing administrative support to management. This position contains a broad cross-section of business administration functions across all operations of the organization including managing or performing finance, budget, and facilities responsibilities. The Financial Analyst will provide professional administrative expertise by coordinating, researching, recommending, and implementing overall business administrative initiatives.
Duties may include administrative tasks in functional areas such as: finance, purchasing, research and development. Responsibilities may include email follow up, meeting scheduling, preparing budgeting summaries, project schedules, and analysis of information for function.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Support government funds administrator in processing various government funding documents including:
- Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), Initial Funding Documents and Amendments, Work Requests, Job Orders, Travel Orders
- Works under limited supervision for routine situations.
- May be responsible for leading daily operations.
- Provides assistance and training to lower-level employees.
- Makes minor adjustments to working methods and independently develops solutions to problems.
- Explains practices, procedures, and policies to reach agreement with others outside of the job area.
- Works to deliver day-to-day objectives with significant impact on achievement of results for the job area and which may have some impact on the overall achievement of results for the department.
- Responsible for making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve efficiency and effectiveness of job area.
- Typically has user experience knowledge and makes broader change recommendations based on user feedback.
- Expected to independently propose solutions to problems for manager review.
- Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information on matters of moderate importance to the job area.
- Explains practices, procedures, and policies in order to reach agreement or support internal clients.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Must have a current DoD Secret security clearance (note: this requires US citizenship.)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or relevant field.
- Experience as Federal Funds Administrator
- Naval, Naval Shipyard Experience or DOD equivalent
- Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills. Must have outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.
- Must possess strong creative thinking, problem-solving, and systems thinking abilities and be actions/results-oriented.
- Must be able to set goals, prioritize multiple objectives with various deadlines, and independently manage financial projects.
- Experience using multiple Financial and Budgeting Systems to input, process and report various outputs.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experience as Federal Funds Administrator
- Naval or Shipyard Experience
