What are the responsibilities and job description for the Imagery Science SME position at CACI?
CACI has an outstanding opportunity for an Imagery Science SME. This position is in support of USMC MCIA organizations and located in Quantico, VA. The Imagery Science SME will be responsible for providing business, technical, and personnel coordination and management for individual projects in support of CACI.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and verbally, and present products and ideas in a business manner. The candidate will be required to work in a dynamic environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts with stakeholders. The candidate must be experienced in
interfacing with both internal and external leadership. The successful candidate must have experience in personnel management and coordination with external organizations
What you’ll get to do:
Specifically, the Imagery Science SME will be responsible for the exploitation of imagery of the following sensor disciplines: Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Thermal Infrared, Spectral, or Geospatial to include OPIR, Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Photogrammetry and Light Imaging Detection and Ranging (LIDAR). Produce advanced FSG-related products in support of GEOINT requirements to include Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Thermal Infrared (TIR), Spectral, and/or fused geospatial analysis. Provide technical analytical expertise in support of the USMC National Geospatial-Intelligence Program funded Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG) analysis and production program. Provide recommendations of operational GEOINT architectures, and FSG guidance to analysts, operators, and managers on processes, techniques and procedures. Participate in the development of program strategies, issues papers, briefings, and senior-level correspondence for MCIA and HQ USMC leadership necessary to sustain and expand FSG analysis and production capabilities to meet current and future USMC operations. Provide technical assistance in establishing relationships NSG functional managers to promote service specific GEOINT requirements and resolve shortfall impacts to MCIA GEOINT operations. Assess the implications of integrating new GEOINT sources for various providers to include, but not limited to: NTM, foreign, commercial, and airborne programs into the enterprise.
Qualifications you’ll bring:
- Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI
- B.A./B.S. or completion of formal Military/DOD intelligence training
- 11 years with degree or 15 years with military/DOD training of related experience within one or more intelligence
- areas pertaining to, but not limited to, counterterrorism, infrastructure, cybersecurity, counterdrug, travel, science, and fluency in/active usage of languages used in the analytic intelligence and counterintelligence process, border security, and all phases of the intelligence cycle, such as production and dissemination
- Strong communications skill in both written and verbal forms
Qualifications that are nice to have:
Experience in one or more intelligence areas but not limited to All Source Intelligence, Imagery Intelligence, Geospatial Intelligence, Signals Intelligence and Open Source Intelligence and all phases of the intelligence cycle, such as production and dissemination.
