What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Analyst position at CACI?
Summary:
As a Logistics Analyst, you will be a member of a Logistics Operations Team in support of CONUS and OCONUS Army systems. This team is responsible for organizing and implementing Integrated Product Support (IPS) activities related to the flow of materials, sustainment engineering, and maintenance support with emphasis on life-cycle logistics services.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Be part of a team that is responsible for global logistics operations support for Army systems
- Assist with all aspects of warehouse management, system builds, hardware inventory, hardware problem and event management
- Be knowledgeable with each hardware component associated with fielded, planned, and legacy systems
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all available inventory and shipping procedures
- Ensure proper involvement and understanding of upcoming versions of our products, including any variants in hardware components
- Support inventory tracking, labeling, shipping, RMAs, hardware repair, system installations, etc
- Assist with maintaining receiving and shipping records; assist during transfers or dispositions/demil in accordance with government policy; aide in preparation of all required documentation
- Assist with the day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities
- Monitor and escalate any external environment and internal trends to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) in the supply chain
- Assist with the development and publication of technical IPS life-cycle documentation, IAW with U.S. Army policies and procedures, when needed; ex. Product Support Strategy (PSS) Development, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP), Technical Manuals/Training Support packages
- Assist with Production Acceptance Testing (PAT), when needed
- Work with various teams across the program to aide in providing efficient logistics support
- Act as a point of contact for order status to requestors, and supply-chain related queries to procurement and freight forwarders
- Unload, unpack, count, segregate, palletize and store incoming supplies and equipment
- Prepare equipment shipments for fielding, which includes: inventory, palletizing, boxing, packaging, wrapping and banding
- Support inventory, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment at the Sterling and Manassas locations
- Assist with the transportation of equipment and movement between locations, various exercise and/or fielding events
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS), or equivalent experience
- 5 years of related work experience that includes logistics, supply and maintenance operations
- Certified for Forklift operations, or ability to obtain upon hire
- Knowledge with shipping, receiving, storing, issuing stock control measures and accounting procedures
- Familiarity with CONUS and OCONUS shipping procedures
- Proficiency with Database Management and Inventory Operations
- Familiar with MS Office tools; ex. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams
- Expertise with preparing and receiving equipment shipments; ex. inventory, labeling, palletizing, boxing/unboxing, packaging, wrapping and banding
- Ability to rack, wire, connect, install and perform on-site testing of system hardware components
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
- Physical ability to stand; walk; stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch
- Fluent in English language including the ability to read, write, and comprehend relevant logistics documentation and technical manuals
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- DOD &/or prior Military experience
- Experience with SIGINT data processing
- Experience maintaining servers, network and/or communication equipment
- Experience and certification operating a forklift
- Ability to support CONUS/OCONUS site surveys, inventories and/or installations
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively within a warehouse setting
- Advanced knowledge of databases and spreadsheets
Jira, Remedy, ServiceNow, or other ticketing system experience
