What You’ll Get to Do
As a Program Manager you will be part of a leadership team working to formulate, propose, capture, and execute on a new large-scale SIGINT Government program, with an emphasis on signal processing and mission control applications. Some of the problems faced are frequently complex and require broad-based solutions that impact areas outside of immediate responsibility. Although you would not be expected to be a subject matter expert or an individual technical contributor, you would be the primary interface to customers that are extremely technical, and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas. The support of your technical team will be critical to your success in this role. This position will also require the ability to influence and motivate the technical team to accept evolving design and quality best practices, and the ability to communicate with and influence executive leadership. The program is expected to have follow-on phases with volume production, and the position will also include a responsibility to interface with production teams in adjacent organizations as needed in support of that transition. A successful person in this role would contribute to improvement of entire processes or systems within programs and the organization, leveraging on personal past experiences and in-depth understanding of best practices.
More About the Role
CACI seeks talented program managers, this SCI-cleared program manager (PM) will be supporting the development and production of RF systems and electronic warfare capabilities. The PM will serve as a CACI representative and primary interface to key areas in the organization. The PM will establish and maintain the trust of all stakeholder organizations as well as industry partners, and will provide leadership, management, and oversight to the program’s workforce to deliver exceptional outcomes in the development and production enterprise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
Have extensive knowledge with Microsoft Office / Project / Teams
Work closely with project management team to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets, and timeframes for projects
Must establish compliance with all directives for secured handling of documents
Must have proven ability to work in a fast-paced development and production environment while maintaining proper priorities and scheduling on extremely tight deadlines.
Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas.
Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the program/project.
Allocates resources and sets schedules to accomplish program and task order objectives
Leads program reviews and adjusts priorities, resources, and schedules as necessary to achieve customer satisfaction
Communicates the strength of CACI’s current and prospective offerings, and their potential role in achieving the Government’s objectives
Provides technical, programmatic, mission and administrative briefings as necessary to communicate progress and overcome obstacles
Maintains expertise in relevant mission and technology concepts and trends, and advises the company and customer on managing related risks and opportunities
Ensure ESOH / HA protocols are adhered to and effectively monitored
Communicate with project team to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
US Citizenship is required along with active TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Project Management or related field and 10 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience with the management and execution of complex mission applications.
Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated program management experience in large Government engineering environments
A thorough understanding of Government buying behavior and the factors that shape it
Excellent communication skills.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
An advanced degree in engineering or a related field, or an MBA degree
Experience developing SIGINT signal processing and mission control applications
Proven ability to exercise broadly delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many projects within a program
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master, or similar certifications
