What You’ll Get to Do:
Design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications using a variety of technologies, such as C#, .NET Unified Framework, MVC 5, Entity Framework, and SQL Server
Implement interactive features and functionality using JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
Collaborate with team members from all parts of the development lifecycle, from development to operations to cybersecurity, solving technical challenges, and providing and receiving guidance and mentorship
Develop enterprise-level web applications
Transform customer requirements into working, maintainable solutions
Utilize opensource software development kits and API's to rapidly develop basic application solutions
Work in a collaborative Agile team environment
Assist with product backlog grooming, identifying epics and writing stories
Support formal testing as needed
More About the Role:
Responsible for researching, designing, developing and/or modifying software systems (e.g., custom, COTS, GOTS). Presents ideas for system improvements. Develops cost estimates for software developments or enhancements. Conducts impact analysis for software changes. Produces detailed specifications and writes software code. Works closely with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements. Conducts unit tests and documents findings. Supports formal testing in controlled environment before code is promoted to production. Adheres to program configuration change control standards. Provides input into training manuals for users. Understands the structure and functionality of the COTS applications (e.g., MS SQL, .SAP, and ServiceNow). Writes interfaces and conversion routines leveraging the application programmatic interface (API). Extends applications by using applicable application tools. Maintains knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
3-5 years of experience developing applications using C#, .NET, and Visual Studio
Experience with Azure DevOps (Git)
Strong oral and written communications skills
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM)
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
Desire to be cross-functional, performing tasks with other members of the Agile team as needed
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience working within the DoD
Experience with .NET Unified Framework
Experience with Selenium automated testing tool
Familiarity with Test Driven Development and automated unit testing
