The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer for our Hanover, MD location (hybrid work flexibility.)
Responsibilities:
A day in the life (just a few of the things you may do on any given day):
Enhance your current skillset by disrupting traditional workflows and processes building an enterprise-scale environment using AWS technologies coupled with DevOps methodologies. You will be an integral part of a team of knowledgeable technologists responsible for helping to build an enterprise-scale cloud presence within the IC for software development, web hosting, research, and more! This is a multi-faceted position requiring you to spend time working directly with AWS services and the underlying operating systems themselves, to efficiently improve security automations, aid collaboration efforts with software engineers, and streamline infrastructure processes. This position offers the opportunity to use your existing infrastructure, IT, or systems engineering experience and apply it to solve problems with tools and concepts unique to AWS and Cloud Service Provider environments.
This role is in support of dynamic, rotating professional services engagements lasting from 6 weeks to 6 months. In this role, you will continuously be focused on forward leaning migration, evolution, and optimization tasking within AWS-based environments (no long-term operations and maintenance tasking!). You will be regularly tasked with new customers and exciting new challenges to help advance customer adoption of AWS across multiple classification domains.
• Interact with various operating systems, applications, environments, and cloud computing platforms to create IT automation and orchestration activities
• Use open source technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases encountered within the project
• Use coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom workflow
• Collaborate with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem
• Perform incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered
• Work with cloud native services to implement event-driven architectures via Infrastructure as Code

• Agile: Able to work as part of small team working together to develop a solution for both commercial and government customers.
• Focused on Automation: Wherever possible, you look for ways to automate manual processes to increase efficiency, speed, and operability of tasks.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of 12 years of experience performing software development, software engineering, or systems automation
• Experience with agile software development in Python, Go, or Node.js
• Experience performing automation in Windows or Linux environments using scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell
• Customer facing skills to drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Desired:
• AWS experience
• AWS Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator Associate Certification
• Experience working with JSON or YAML to write Infrastructure as Code
• Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
• Experience with development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins
• Experience performing software development in Windows or Linux operating system environments

The proposed salary range for this position is:
