What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Software Tester position at CACI?
CACI is seeking a Senior Tester to join our Team in Arlington, VA. In this position you serve as the Sr. Software Tester primarily responsible for verification and validation of software products associated with delivery of customer-defined systems and software applications.
About the Role:
Develop and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for integration, functional, regression and user acceptance testing to identify system and software problems and their causes, record defects and reporting the results of testing.
Develop and implement quality assurance methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owner to define testing approach for validating requirements against developed software.
Collaborate with Product Owners to understand product specifics and create test strategies.
Participate in product backlog grooming, sprint planning, product demonstrations and sprint retrospectives.
Execute test cases, document results and track issues to completion.
Define test methodology requirements in the form of user stories.
Map test cases to user stories and acceptance criteria.
Estimate tasks required for testing activities.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to attain DHS EOD (Entrance on Duty) clearance
BA 8 years’ applicable experience, AA 10 years’ applicable experience, MA 6 years applicable experience or 14 years’ experience
Experience with functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
Experience supporting incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach to test a broad range of software solutions.
Ability to create test plans, test procedures, user stories, change requests and problem reports.
Experience interacting with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters and Developers
Ability to apply test estimation techniques to software development efforts
Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical certification in software testing such as Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST)
Experience testing mobile applications
Experience with ServiceNow development programs

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$94,400 - $198,300Salary : $82,100 - $172,400
