Job Description

CACI is seeking a cleared Service Desk Technician in Albuquerque, NM . You will provide technical support for an Information Technology (IT) Help Desk. If you are looking to be a part of a long term program an invent your future, CACI would like to speak with you.

 

What You’ll Get to Do:

    • Support monitor, test, and  troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to the LAN
    • Recommends and schedules repairs
    • Provides end users support for all LAN-based and stand-alone applications
    • Install and configures workstations
    • Identify and resolve various technical problems
    • Inventory and document equipment and software
    • Ensures network, computer, and security resources achieve high user availability
    • Provides various LAN, hardware/software support, system installations, data backup, maintenance, and problem solving as well as training and assisting in special projects as needed
    • Provide a wide range of customer support in professional manners
    • Professional and courteous customer service with customers and visitors
     

    You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

    • An Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
    • AA/AS in Information Technology, Computer Information  Systems, or a minimum of 2 plus years’ experience
    • CompTIA A+ and Security + or within six (6) months of hire
    • Microsoft Exchange
    • Working knowledge of networking
    • Basic understanding of IT fundamentals
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, and Windows 10)
    • Knowledge of Microsoft productivity software (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Access, etc.)
    • Knowledge of backup software
    • Knowledge and experience with active directory management and administration
    • In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and technology trends
    • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT field
    • Experience and familiarity with active directory services, maintaining LAN documentation, support logs, and other documentation
    • Written and oral communication skills

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
    • VMware experience
    • Active TS/SCI
