CACI is seeking a cleared Software Developer (Journeyman) to support critical software development activities for PM Mission Command (PM MC) and the Mounted Mission Command Family of Systems in Huntsville. AL.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Mounted Mission Command Family of Systems as an on-the-move, networked mission command information system that enables units to share near real-time friendly and enemy situational awareness information, share common operation maps and graphics, transmit and receive command and control messages, and conduct interactive communications via chat rooms. Within Mounted Mission Command are four Programs of Record, Software, Network, Transport, and Compute and Store. Mounted Mission Command-Software is one of three major components of the Army Common Operation Environment and will interface and share data with other computing environments.
More About the Role:
The primary focus of this position is to develop applications to support a critical software upgrade to the Joint Battle Command - Platform (JBC-P), a networked mission command information system that enables Army and Marine Corps' units to share near real-time friendly, enemy, and battlefield situational awareness, operational maps and graphics, and command and control (C2) messages.
The MMC software will exploit the MMC transport and hardware capability-maturation, continuously enhancing capabilities, security and network resiliency that outpaces adversarial countermeasures and threats. It will provide a common user-experience that enables leaders to lead and fight their formations from anywhere on the battlefield.
