Job Description:
CACI is seeking a Part-Time (PT) Systems Engineer to support our U.S. Navy government customer. Position is located in New Albany, IN. In this role you will provide Engineering support for Gun Weapons Systems.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Provide high-level technical support for engineering projects that directly enhance the capabilities of our nation’s warfighters.
Perform engineering design, technical analysis, and integration activities for multiple gun weapon systems.
Support development of modifications and upgrades to improve capabilities, reliability, supportability, and safety of fielded equipment.
Review and update technical documentation, to include engineering drawings, technical manuals, and test plans.
Provide high-level analysis and recommendations to our technical team and our Navy customers to support mission requirements.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 10 years of experience in systems engineering supporting gun weapon systems, combat systems, or related equipment.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
Experience working Navy programs.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with Naval Gun Systems Engineering design, integration, testing, troubleshooting and repair.
Knowledge of DOD requirements, standards, and processes.
Knowledge of DOD logistics requirements, documentation, and processes.
