What You Will Do
The Environmental Services Manager plays a central role in facility, by overseeing and ensuring the cleanliness of the building, along with scheduling housekeeping and laundry services. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on person, with an understanding of cleaning equipment and management experience. By making sure the building is in the best condition, our staff can continue to provide the best care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
• Manages and directs tasks for the Environmental Services department
• Develop and maintain written policies and procedures
• Directs laundry operations to ensure clean and sanitary products are delivered, as needed.
• Make written reports/recommendations to the Administrator as needed concerning the operation of the Environmental Services Department
• Ensure that outside services are properly completed/supervised in accordance with contract/work orders.
• Manage and schedule Environmental Services department schedule
Qualifications:
• Must possess at least one year of experience managing a housekeeping/environmental services department of a commercial facility.
• Previous experience in Long term care and familiarity with state and federal regulations is preferred.
• Must be able to participate in on call rotation
• Must be flexible to work other shifts as needed
