About the role:
CAE, the world's largest aviation training company is looking for a Fleet Planner to join the Las Vegas Training Center. CAE isat the leading edge of digital immersionprovidingsolutions to make the world a safer place.
The Fleet Planner is responsible for maintaining and executing the day to day planning of client training. Will be required to work onsite and independently, while frequently communicating with both the training manager of their assigned platforms and the sales and customer service organization. The candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to think creatively, and be able to comprehend complex regulations from variety of national and international regulatory agencies.
- Proactively and creatively works to provide a schedule that drives revenue retention through client satisfaction as well as employee retention through consistent work life balance. Allocates employees and simulator resources to maximize revenue and employee happiness. Creatively solves complex allocation issues while staying within regulatory and CAE guidelines. Independently adapts the schedule to fluctuating demands including last minute cancellations and employee absence calls. Acts as the key execution point of all training within CAE-responsible for allocation all program related resources in a manner that both maximizes revenue and ensures the long-term health of the program.
- Communicates with their assigned training manager, sales, and customer service to react to customer requests and proactively address possible training concerns. Seeks opportunities to improve revenue efficiency by optimizing booked schedules and providing clear slots for sales to fill. Balances responses to both clients and sales in a way that ensures balanced support for all clients and ensures high quality training.
- Follow regulatory requirements to ensure that all training is booked and scheduled within the specific NAA (National Aviation Authorities) regulations. Key owner regulatory conflicts process.
- Design, implement enhancements, update and maintain the registration and scheduling database for assigned programs with current course programs, dates and schedules. Ensure pilot training reservation accuracy is meeting goals set.
- Interface daily with Training Manager insuring accuracy of customer training requirements (programs), appropriate use of employee resources and booking information is correct to insure delivery of the training program is correct measured by reservation accuracy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-5 years job related or scheduling experience
- Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
- Possess skills for insuring client centricity is essential
- Ability to meet business goals while insuring regulatory compliance is required
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow established regulations, company polices and other guidance
