Ensure accountability and control of government and customer property in accordance were applicable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans, schedules and monitors the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.
  • Supply raw material requirements and scheduling needs from engineering specifications, production schedules and coordinates material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
  • Utilizes Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. May negotiate lead times with suppliers and manage schedules for timely delivery.
  • Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management. Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight.
  • Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
  • Work is performed with general oversight. May manage large projects or processes that are both inside and outside of immediate job area.
  • Typically, responsible for managing complex projects at this level, involving delegation and review of work.
  • Communicates within and outside of own function or business area and has responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.) when necessary. Explains, interprets, and gains cooperation on policies, procedures and practices.
  • Work consists of making moderate to substantial improvement or enhancements to systems and processes to improve performance of job area. Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are complex and may require comprehensive information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem. Problems typically involve consideration of multiple issues, job areas or specialties. Problems are generally solved through creative solutions, drawing from prior experience and in-depth analysis of issues. Works to achieve operational targets with direct impact on the departmental results. Contributes to the development of goals for the department and planning efforts (budgets, operational plans, etc.).

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Associates Degree in a closely related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Four (4) years of related experience, preferably related to government and aerospace industry.

Security Responsibilities

Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
