Role and Responsibilities POSITION & REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY: Be a part of a growing company in the Healthcare field. The well qualified candidate will work directly with the CAE internal team and external partners to deliver best in class quality products and services to our customers. This individual will work with a variety of diverse disciplines within the company such as Engineers, Clinical Specialists, Product Management, Procurement and internal QA to drive quality performance. By applying various quality tools, the person will play a key role to help shape and improve the Quality culture at CAE Healthcare. RESPONSIBILITIES Manages CAPA and other related QMS processes Report out to management and customer root cause and corrective actions Culture Change agent Key actor in the design and maintenance of enterprise quality solutions Identifies root causes of problems; recommends and/or facilitates corrective measures and technical solutions. Analyzes data to identify risk in process with the goal of mitigating and preventing future defects. Collaborating in complex cross-functional environments, and bridging the gap between customer needs to solutions. Demonstrates the ability to work independently in multiple phases for the Product Realization Process, without direction from mentors or functional management. Demonstrates desire and skill in coaching and mentoring other quality team members on technical and role-related competencies Review, revise and release procedures as required Support Internal Audits as applicable This position has no supervisory responsibilities. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or pertinent technical discipline 7-10 years experience quality engineer function 7-10 years experience working in an ISO9001 Quality system Strong analytical and problem solving skills Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities and provide succinct direction in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Ability to data mine and present quantitatively to objectively state current activity Proficiency with Microsoft systems (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) required. Ability to communicate between various organizations and work with multifunctional teams, including leadership PREFERRED: Proficient in Salesforce and QPulse Proficient in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Process Mapping experience GENERAL: Complies with and enforces all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures both at CAE Healthcare and wherever CAE Healthcare is represented (i.e., program site, trade show, etc.). Performs other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds daily and ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Routinely sit, stand and walk throughout the day.
