Regulatory Compliance Officer

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Serves as the property’s designated BSA Compliance Officer for regulatory purposes.

· Safeguard property assets.

· Compile and/or review CTRCs and SARs when necessary.

· Design and implement effective work programs to evaluate the property’s compliance with internal control procedures and regulatory requirements.

· Ensure that the required Finance regulatory submissions are completed and filed in a timely fashion.

· Establish & maintain the necessary internal control requirements in compliance with Division regulations and company policies.

· Ensure compliance with Internal Audit and Division directives and regulations.

· Act as liaison between property and regulatory agencies.

· Conduct self always in a manner that reflects credit on property and encourages others to do the same.

· Perform follow-up self-audits on previously noted deficiencies in various departments and make recommendations to improve effectiveness of control environment. Maintain a library of self-audits for various departments as needed.

· Assist in the creation and editing of Internal Controls.

· Perform investigations as needed for player subpoenas.

· Perform related duties as assigned.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelors or Associate Degree in Business (or related field) is preferred or equivalent work experience.

· Knowledge of audit procedures, internal controls and gaming regulations preferred.

· Audit, Casino Cashiering, Casino Operations or Finance experience preferred.

· Must be proficient with word processing and spreadsheet computer applications, preferably Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Strong written and verbal communications skills.

· Read, write, speak, and understand English.

· Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and proficiency at coordinating activities within and between various departments.

· Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to handle, identify and implement solutions to complex issues and simultaneously manage several projects under frequent time pressures
