Marketing Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY     

The Production Designer/Marketing Coordinator will be contribute to the design and production of high-quality digital and graphic materials to ensure the brand standards of Cahuilla Casino Hotel through all platforms from print to online messaging.  Assists and supports the Marketing department in all aspects of the Players Club, promotions and business marketing activities.  The Production Designer/Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Director of Operations and Marketing Supervisor to meet marketing and guest service objectives.      

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Promotes the highest degree of guest service to both external and internal guests.
2. Assists with the production of all promotional collateral materials for the property and resizes as needed ensuring consistency of branding and messaging in all creative aspects.
3. Prepares layouts and oversee implementation of advertisement signage for both on and off property.
4. Prepares layouts for back of house messaging.
5. Manages content and promotional updates for cahuillacasinohotel.com through WordPress platform.
6. Supports the social media strategy as defined by Director of Operations to increase visibility and traffic across all social platforms.
7. Facilitate and monitor all networking conversations to ensure they meet the brand guidelines and are addressed within 24 hours
8. Must efficiently produce graphic art and visual print collateral materials for promotions, advertisement, back of house and online through a variety of media outlets in a time sensitive manner.
9. Work with outside vendor to coordinate print production needs including cost estimates, submitting purchase order requests, proofing of files and delivery.  
10. Maintains database integrity, including data entry, pulling player data and database reports.
11. Assists with coordinating direct mail and incentive programs through mail house and data input into player tracking system on a monthly basis based on approved promotional/direct mail calendars.
12. Assists with marketing postformas following promotional events for tracking and analysis performance. 
13. Assists with the execution of monthly promotions.
14. Responsible for monthly competitive analysis and tracking competitors advertising and promotional offerings.
15. Organize and prioritize work load to ensure that all projects are completed in a timely manner.
16. Promotes good inter-department relationships through effective communication. 
17. Ability to work flexible schedule including various shifts as needed, holidays, weekends and peak business times.
18. Performs all other duties as assigned

1. Must have two or four year degree in graphic arts, design or related field.
2. Must have a minimum of two years’ experience in design field or combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and ability.
3. Proficient in working in Adobe Creative Cloud software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CMS (content management system) and other software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
4. Database administration and/or data entry experience.
5. Ability to create and manage data in spreadsheets and reports.
6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Strong math skills.
8. Must be able read, write, speak, and understand English.
9. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills and work ethic.
10. Solid organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
11. Able to obtain and retain gaming license through the Cahuilla Tribal Gaming Agency.

3. While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions and required to move about the Casino floor and exposed to a non-smoke free environment.
4. Cahuilla Casino Hotel is committed to a drug and alcohol free workplace. Any job offer is conditional upon successful passing of a pre-employment drug test and must qualify for a Cahuilla Gaming License, which includes an extensive background security check.
5. If none of the applicants should meet the stated qualifications, applicants whose education and experience are less than the stated requirements, may be interviewed and hired provided the applicant hired submits a formal written training plan within (30) thirty days which can be completed within a “reasonable time” agreed upon by the supervisor and the applicant. Applicants who are hired and fail t meet the agreed upon formal training program, will be discharged upon failure to complete the specified training as so scheduled. A drug test will be required prior to employment and periodically thereafter.
