Job Profile Summary
CAI is hiring! We are seeking a Sr. Project Management Analyst for a 6 month contract to hire position. This role is 90% remote and, due to the client's need, must be a Florida state resident. The candidate selected in this position will be helping manage the process associated with the client's portfolio of dozens of projects that are active or pending at any particular time.
Duties and Responsibilities
This role is responsible for maintaining a high-level perspective on all of these technical projects and interpret project progress for reporting. Identifying progress helps the client to celebrate success or remove roadblocks that can help teams get unstuck. Key to success in this role are attention to data - ensuring that the quality of data is good so that reports, dashboards, and predictive tools provide helpful information to management teams who need to make decisions. Furthermore, this role will be responsible for developing new procedures and tools to help teams standardize best practices in software development and make it easier for teams without project management experience to fill in the blanks for data needed to manage and track projects.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented
- Intuitive, able to see the abstract and the big picture, but also detail oriented - managing the details gets us to our successes in realizing our goals
- Process improvement and organization change experience - able to discuss with teams how processes will change, positive impacts they can expect and what will change for them
- Great with people - there are lots of interactions with all kinds of people in this role, from developers to analysts to contractors and vendors to customers at all levels from Directors to Front Line staff.
- Ready to jump in where needed, roll up their sleeves, and help the teams at a group or individual level, taking on a broad definition of what success in their role means
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycles especially waterfall and agile approaches
- May have some roles in helping specific projects with project coordination on an as-needed basis, but the key focus will be furthering data tools and process to track our project portfolio and improve our project delivery process
- Evangelizing process. We want to move all teams forward to more consistent project management process, evolving the maturity of the organization as a whole.
Skills Desired
- SQL
- Project Management experience
- Experience in creating project schedules.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus
- Software application development experience is a plus
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
