Job Profile Summary:
CAI is hiring!
CAI is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a government client. This is a hybrid (3 days/week onsite), 9-month contract opportunity. Our client is based in Indianapolis, IN.
This position will provide senior level business system analysis, support, and quality
assurance for the department for the current, ongoing program.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, recognize areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Reviews of functional processes and developing optimization plans using technology.
Performing requirements analysis, documenting, and communicating the results to QAMIS team and program team.
Effectively communicating understandings and analysis to program team and management.
Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements. Performing user acceptance testing.
Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements and serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Provide support to the QAMIS development team for business requirements issues.
Ensure government-mandated policy changes and additions are implemented. * Participate in functional requirements gathering sessions with program and IT teams.
Formulate and define project scope by analyzing user and system requirements, limitations, and policies.
Communicate positively and effectively within program teams.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer or related fields with IT experience.
Experience as a business analyst in information technology with project tools and best practices.
Experience evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, recognize areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Experience with writing test scripts, performing, and supporting user acceptance testing.
Experience writing SQL queries to support required for the applications.
Expert understanding of SDLC.
Desired Education and Experience:
Knowledge of the healthcare industry to develop requirements.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
