Job Profile Summary
CAI is hiring! We are in immediate need of a Systems Analyst. This is a full time, hybrid role and will require some travel to Moon Township, PA. CAI offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance. The Systems Analyst is a client facing role requiring strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong troubleshooting and resolution skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Third Party Application - Upgrades and Implementation. Review and validate functionality of application upgrades and implementations. Identify new functionality and/or hardware requirements as assigned.
- Working directly with a third-party vendor to resolve any issues and configuration of the application.
- Ensuring the system is compliant with latest security guidelines determined by the company.
- Communicating on a daily basis with business users and resolving any ad hoc requests urgently.
- Process Improvement - Create and update processes. Ability to contribute to process improvement efforts.
- Conduct testing to ensure that the systems work as expected
- Train the systems' end users and write instruction manuals
- SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) - Have an intermediate understanding of the application development life cycle. Ability to apply those principles to day-to-day work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Mid-level with 5 years relevant job experience
- Knowledge of the following: Windows Server 2016, Linux, SQL, Agile and Scrum; experience with Java and .NET highly desired
- Analytical skills. Analysts must interpret complex information from various sources and decide the best way to move forward on a project. They must also figure out how changes may affect the project.
- Communication skills. The ability to communicate complicated technical or non-technical issues clearly, concisely and without ambiguity both in person and in writing is essential.
- Creativity. Because analysts are tasked with finding innovative solutions to computer problems, an ability to "think outside the box" is important.
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
