Fund Onboarding Specialist – Vice President

CAIS is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Fund Onboarding Specialist to join the Operations team at CAIS. The ideal candidate will be a positive self-starter with great attention to detail. This is a great opportunity to gain unique exposure within a fast-paced FinTech firm in the Alternative Investments space.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cross-functional processes of onboarding a wide variety of alternative investment products onto the CAIS platform
• Collaborate closely with CAIS business development and operations personnel in developing proposals, and analyzing the feasibility and profitability of various unique opportunities
• Communicate directly with fund managers and third-party administrators, explaining requirements of the platform and guiding them through the setup process
• Curate collaborative relationships with fund administrators, custodians and other counterparties
• Assist in the development of efficient onboarding processes and procedures and fund manager experiences within the CAIS platform; work with the technology team to automate workflows
• Create and maintain KPIs relating to fund onboarding
• Develop, implement, and maintain operating procedures
• Additional responsibilities to be determined based on capacity, skill, and interest
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline preferred
• 5-7 years of relevant experience preferably within the hedge fund and/or private equity industry
• Knowledge of alternative investments a plus
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, VBA, and Macros a plus
• Strong organizational, multitasking, problem solving, communication, and time management skills
• Highly organized self-starter with experience coordinating multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
