We have an outstanding opportunity for a School Social Worker to develop and conduct groups virtually to address the needs of parents of special needs students during the Covid19 pandemic.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
The Calais School is looking for a part time School Social Worker to provide virtual support groups to parents of special needs students during the Covid19 pandemic.
The candidate must have experience developing and running programs to address the concerns of parents of special education students.
The candidate must have experience working with special education students and families.
Hours per week will be determined by the demand (possibly 1-4 virtual groups per week).
Requirements:
Experience working with special needs students.
Must possess NJ School Social Worker Certification
Must possess LCSW or LPC.
Effective problem-solving, human relations and communication skills. Must be a team-oriented player.
Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status and a complete physical examination.
