Job Summary:
The Warehouse Lead(s) will work under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor and the direction of SOPs, the warehouse lead will be the "go-to" person on the floor as well as involved in day-to-day operations of receiving and shipping. They will assist the supervisor as needed and take lead when necessary. The warehouse lead will assist in creating a healthy work environment while escalating issues to management.
Duties:
- Broad knowledge of RF-Smart *WMS) or other WMS system and scanning functions.
- Assist with warehouse trainings.
- Follows the standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Assigns daily tasks and informs Supervisor of assignments.
- Follows and drives warehouse processes and procedures.
- Checks orders, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Leads in improving customer experience and mitigating all damages and mis-picks.
- Ensures SAFE and proper operation of all MHE.
- Collaborates with all other departments within the Cali network.
- Escalates issues to supervisors and recommends potential solutions.
- Ensures the team follows company policies and procedures.
- Makes sure the team adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.
- Ability to maintain a clean work environment.
Education & Experience:
- Must have 1 year of previous Lead experience
- Knowledge of WMS system
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
