Are you seeking a dynamic and challenging role in Information Technology (IT) project management? The Employment Development Department (EDD) invites highly motivated individuals to join the Portfolio Management and Oversight Group within the Enterprise Strategies and Project Management Office. As an IT Specialist I, you will engage in complex activities supporting the Department's IT project portfolio management, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure transparency and mutual understanding of EDD's IT goals.
Under the guidance of the IT Manager I, you will contribute to the development of project work plans, assist with implementing Project Portfolio Management oversight, and assist the Project Manager with intricate IT assignments. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects and frequent interaction with managers and staff in the IT Branch.

This position is headquartered in Sacramento and may be eligible for telework under EDD's telework policy. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office, as needed. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.
