Multi-Entity business is looking for an administrative assistant to join our team in our Fresno office. This person will work to support the daily operations of the Accounting and HR departments.
The ideal candidate is a positive individual with strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to take direction and communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.
Responsibilities:
- Some phones, emails, filing, copying and various office duties.
- Work with HR Director to set up interviews with candidates that filter through posting sites.
- Build out and maintain processes to keep files organized and easily accessible.
- Comfortable with digging into various websites to update contact and account information.
- Act as liaison between departments and employees when necessary.
- Alert employees of new processes, rules and regulations as they become available.
- Provide support to various departments when necessary.
- Comfortable with taking direction but able to ask questions when necessary.
- Research California guidelines for various mandates
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- 1-2 years experience as an administrative assistant, secretary or receptionist preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to stay focused when working alone
- Positive, high-energy attitude
- Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set
- Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, fax machines, projectors)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a small, busy and vocal office environment, across three different entities
