California PostAcute Care is a skilled nursing facility. Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision.
We focus on providing care for patients who are not in the acute phase of illness or requiring services in a hospital and who require primary, restorative, or skilled nursing services on an inpatient or custodial care basis. Our goal is to help our patients reach a degree of self-care in essential daily living.

What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking to hire a self-motivated, efficient, responsible Quality Assurance Nurse. This is a direct-hire: Full-Time permanent position for a great company. If you have a passion for healthcare, this is the right opportunity for you!
What You'll Do:
- Review nurse’s notes on a daily basis for compliance with the physician’s plan of care and supplemental orders.
- Write compliance notices for any findings that are not consistent with the physician’s plan of care or clinical nursing standards as mandated by the Nurse Practice Act.
- Call nurses to set up appointments for office time to review compliance notices and documentation inconsistencies.
- Participate in in-service programs to educate nurses on documentation requirements as mandated by the agency, state and federal regulations.
- Case Conference with Case Manager nurses, DPCS and Administrator as needed to discuss patient care issues and chart review findings.
- Read all Coordination of Care notes to insure that all changes in condition have been effectively conferenced and M.D. has been notified of any changes in condition in a timely manner.
- Prepare a weekly written report of all nurses who have documentation which is “out of compliance”.
- Review medication and treatment records for compliance with physicians’ orders, accuracy and completion.
- Review all pre-hospitalization notes.
- Other administrative duties as assigned by DON.
What You'll Bring:
- 2 years as QA nurse experience preferred.
- 1 year of SNF experience preferred.
- BLS license required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) or LVN License.
