California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) seeks an Information Technology Specialist I in the Technology Infrastructure Services Division, Systems Engineering and Storage Management Section.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Developing solutions for infrastructure systems.
• Acting as a subject matter expert in a variety of technologies such as enterprise storage, virtualization, backup systems, and disaster recovery.
• Researching new technologies for potential implementation and integration with current systems.
• Sets new datacenter hardware standards.
• Providing technical advice to other system and application administrators, assisting in solving complex system problems and in achieving the best use of available hardware and software resources.

Pay: $6,139.00 - $9,932.00 per month
