Psychologist, Correctional Facility (SAFETY)
$49.77 starting hourly rate (Pre-Licensed)
California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is seeking psychologists currently employed with the state of California who are interested in additional appointments to provide coverage within in a part-time capacity, up to 44 hours a month.
We currently have opportunities at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility, located in San Diego. These uncommon positions are available to all psychologists currently employed with the State of California who are not supervisors, managers, or executives. The only stipulation is that the additional appointment cannot service the institution where you are currently assigned to work, and you cannot be a supervisor, manager, or executive.
Additional Information:
- Time worked is not considered overtime.
- Time worked will be outside your normal hours.
- The dates and hours of work will be determined by the hiring location.
In addition, beginning on December 27, 2021, booster-eligible workers who have not yet received their booster dose shall undergo twice-weekly COVID-19 testing (with at least 72 hours between each test), until they receive a booster. Fully-vaccinated workers who are not yet eligible for a booster are only required to test once they become eligible for a booster but remain un-boosted.
