Job Summary
This position serves as the SOE’s primary resource in understanding policies and regulations; preparing mandatory reporting; and analyzing and making use of data for continuous improvement. This position will work toward the development, alteration, implementation, and evaluation of unit-wide strategic initiatives, including the SOE Strategic Plan, the SOE Comprehensive Assessment Plan, individual Program Action Plans, the SOE Accreditation Launchpad, and the SOE Annual Report. This position will prepare and deliver formal reports and consultation to faculty, staff, and university partners for Educator Preparation Programs. This position will serve as a thought partner to the SOE Director and faculty. The position must be able to drive alignment between outside regulations, and daily work within the SOE.
Department Summary
The School of Education (SOE) offers a variety of post-baccalaureate teaching credentials, an advanced credential, and four master’s degrees. As an interdisciplinary unit, the SOE delivers its programs in partnership with eight departments across three colleges, and nearly 50 school districts and county offices of education in our expanded service area. The SOE also works closely with the other CSM units focused on Teacher Education: Liberal Studies and the Center for Engineering, Science and Mathematics Education.
Key Qualifications
Education and Experience
Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university. Three years of technical or administrative experience. A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Salary and Benefits:
Anticipated Hiring Range: $60,000 - $73,500 annually
Classification Range: $46,764 - $84,612 annually
