Location:
- This is a Remote role, but the candidate must reside in one of these counties (LA county/Orange County or San Diego County).
- The position requires travel throughout these three counties.
- There will be times you will visit the CA Bank & Trust office where you will interact and coordinate with Commercial Officers at the bank.
Zions Bank has just opened an opportunity for a Dealer Banking Business Development Officer based in the Dealer Banking Department. We are seeking a dynamic individual to help us expand the Dealer Banking footprint into new markets and continue to build out our $1 billion portfolio.

What will your day look like? You will be:
- Source and develop prospects, new clients and selling business banking services and products to dealers.
- Develop sales strategies and expanding referral sources.
- Pass off prospects to Dealer Banking Relationship managers to close relationship.
- Gather data to be used in selling process, participating in community organizations and activities, and assisting prospective clients in completing loan and services applications.
- Incumbents do not have responsibility for maintaining on-going relationships.
Who should apply? We want someone who has:
- Requires a Bachelors in Business, Finance or a related field and 2 years of experience in business development, sales, loans, banking/finance products and services or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
- Preference given to individuals with prior Dealer related marketing experience.
- Working knowledge of sales techniques, business development, banking/finance products and services.
- Must have solid customer service and negotiation skills.
- Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid problem resolution and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with internal staff on relationships.
- Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and general PC's skills.

*This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $85,000 - $155,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location.
