Position Overview: Position Overview: 1099 0r C2C direct contract no third party vendors allowed We are looking for a seasoned Data Domain Architect to lead our analytics and governance initiatives, with a specific focus on the pharmaceutical domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data architecture principles, coupled with extensive experience in designing and implementing analytics and governance solutions for pharmaceutical organizations. They will play a critical role in defining the data architecture strategy, driving technical excellence, and ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of data architecture solutions for analytics and governance, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, identify key business metrics, and define data architecture strategies that support business objectives.
Architect scalable and resilient data platforms and ecosystems that enable advanced analytics, data visualization, and predictive modeling capabilities.
Define data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, HIPAA).
Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams of data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
Evaluate emerging technologies and tools in the analytics and governance space, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance performance, scalability, and efficiency.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement data security controls, encryption mechanisms, and access management policies to protect sensitive pharmaceutical data.
Drive data integration and interoperability efforts across disparate systems and data sources, ensuring seamless data flows and interoperability.
Define and maintain data architecture documentation, including data models, data dictionaries, and architectural diagrams, to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in data analytics and governance, and incorporate relevant advancements into the data architecture strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
X years of experience in data architecture roles, with a focus on analytics and governance, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record of designing and implementing data architecture solutions for pharmaceutical organizations, including data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms.
Deep understanding of pharmaceutical data domains, including clinical trials, drug development, regulatory compliance, and pharmacovigilance.
Experience with data governance frameworks (e.g., CDMP, DAMA) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA regulations, HIPAA, GDPR) in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong technical proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, data integration technologies (e.g., Informatica, Talend), and analytics tools (e.g., SAS, R, Python).
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and drive consensus on technical decisions.
Certification in data management or related fields (e.g., CDMP, TOGAF) is a plus.
