Project Manager - Data Analytics and Governance (Pharma Experience)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee data analytics and governance projects, with a specific focus on the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, coupled with extensive experience in implementing data analytics and governance initiatives for pharmaceutical organizations. They will play a pivotal role in leading cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring successful project delivery in alignment with client requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data analytics and governance projects for pharmaceutical clients, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop project plans and schedules to achieve them.
• Manage project resources, including project team members, vendors, and subcontractors, to ensure effective utilization and allocation of resources throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to address potential project risks and issues, ensuring proactive identification and resolution.
• Track project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, budget utilization, and resource allocation.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, ensuring clear expectations, roles, and responsibilities are established and maintained throughout the project.
• Manage project budgets and financials, including cost estimation, budget tracking, and variance analysis, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project profitability.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, processes, and best practices, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services or products to existing clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and recommendations on data analytics and governance best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• X years of experience in project management roles, with a focus on data analytics and governance, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing data analytics and governance projects, including project planning, execution, and delivery, within budget and timeline constraints.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics, regulatory requirements, and data governance frameworks (e.g., FDA regulations, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello) is a plus.
