Headquartered in Denmark, Caljan comprises four divisions – Telescopic conveyors, Document Handling & Labelling, Depot Automation and Aftermarket. Caljan’s American facility is located in Menomonee Fall, WI, in a 105,000 square feet building. An aggressive start-up schedule has been set to produce Caljan’s most popular conveyors and other product lines in 2021.

About this Position

We are searching for an experienced Installation Project Manager whom the direction of the National Service Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end successful completion of installation and commissioning projects from delivery to customer handover. The Installation Project Manager will work closely with customers, internal project managers, and members of the service department.

- Participates in clarification of installation & commissioning scope of work with the Sales Team (as part of project handover).

- Creates installation quotes for the sales and service department in connection with machine sales.

- Plans all installation & commissioning projects with close coordination with Sales, Project Management, Service Coordinators, customers, and 3rd party partners

- Conducts kick-off meetings with appropriate stakeholders.

- Conducts site surveys and proactive communication with the customer to ensure that the customer site is appropriately analysed, the machine fits the site and to ensure that the site is ready to receive the order on time.

- Coordinates all required equipment is available and on site as needed based on the project type. e.g. tools, forklifts, and speciality equipment

- Coordinates site access documentation per-installation with the customer

- Oversees installation to ensure all work is being performed in a safe manner while following all Regulations and customer safety requirements.

- Ensures proper hand-over to the customers that includes all required documentation

- Creates and follow-up on non-conformities (NCR reporting).

- Monitors and follow up on installation project costs (budget vs. actual spent).

- Monitors and control change order requests from the customer.

· Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a technical field; or a degree from a vocational/technical college and three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Project Management experience or education

· Experience with project management software

· Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally

· Minimum of two years’ experience working with an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX

· Experience with complex projects

Experience with Site Management/Project Management/Coordination of Projects

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

· Ability to work with mathematical concepts

· Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,127.49 - $95,202.10 per year
