JOB OVERVIEW
As a Senior Recruiter at Call the Car, this position will play a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring the best talent to support our mission of providing high-quality non-emergency medical transportation services. This position requires a high degree of energy, creativity, and adaptability to manage and execute full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
The typical working condition for this position is an indoor office, climate-controlled environment with controlled lighting and noise levels. The job may require extended periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, and/or lifting of at least 25 lbs. The use of a computer or other office equipment(s) is also a requirement. Some evening and/or weekend work and light travel may be necessary.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sourcing and Candidate Pipeline Management:
  a. Proactively source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  b. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates to ensure a steady flow of talent.
2. Screening and Assessment:
  a. Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidates for their qualifications and fit with the company's culture and values.
  b. Administer skill assessments and behavioral interviews to evaluate candidate competencies.
  c. Initiate background screening and manage the process.
3. Interview Coordination:
  a. Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  b. Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the interview process.
4. Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
  a. Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
  b. Assist in defining job descriptions and candidate profiles for open positions.
5. Candidate Experience:
  a. Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  b. Provide timely feedback and communicate transparently with candidates.
  c. Onboarding employees for a successful first day.
6. Data and Reporting:
  a. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  b. Generate recruitment reports and metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
7. Compliance and Documentation:
  a. Stay informed about employment laws and regulations related to recruiting and ensure compliance.
  b. Maintain thorough documentation of all recruitment activities.
  c. Other duties as assigned by executive management.
CORE COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a high-volume senior recruiter, preferably in healthcare or transportation industries.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting best practices and techniques.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Team Player.
