Job Summary:
As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in a continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Essential Job Functions Are:
- Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash.
- Respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
- Report any damages or repairs needed to management.
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
- Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 1 Year of Prior Related Housekeeping Experience Preferred.
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Prioritization and time management skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
