MORE ABOUT YOUR ROLE

This role is fully remote. You will deliver mental health counseling services on the HIPAA-compliant platform via the Internet.

Calmerry offers you the ability to connect with clients via asynchronous text and live video sessions. You can conduct online therapy sessions with clients safely. All information is protected.

As a remote mental health professional, you will help people make healthy lifestyle choices and achieve their goals to lead happy, fulfilling lives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Taking a proactive role
  • Explaining what is expected from the client to have a fruitful therapy
  • Asking questions about the subject of the therapy
  • Creating a therapy plan, defining short- and long-term goals of therapy
  • Giving instruments to calm/help themselves when clients are on their own
  • Giving homework for time in between sessions
  • Providing support here and now if the client needs it
  • Searching for unhealthy behavioral patterns/unpleasant events that occur suspiciously often/etc.
  • Answering clients daily (minimum of 1 time per day)
  • Provide evidence-based mental healthcare via text and video platforms
  • Help clients set treatment goals, monitor progress, and coordinate care recommendations
  • Maintain a high standard of confidentiality set forth by HIPAA policies
  • Identify and respond to high risk clients following company procedures

REQUIREMENTS

All providers are required to possess the following:

  • The highest clinical license in your state of residence, allowing independent clinical practice. Calmerry therapists only work with clients in the state(s) where they are licensed and allowed to practice independently.
  • Licenses: LCSW, LSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.
  • At least 1 year of work experience in independent private counseling.
  • Readiness to communicate with clients via text messaging and live video.
  • Availability to respond to clients daily (working days).
  • Access to a stable Internet connection and any device you are comfortable with.

It would be a benefit if you:

  • Have experience working with LGBTQIA clients.
  • Have previous online therapy experience.
  • Have the willingness to work with couples.
  • Speak freely either Spanish, German, French, or Chinese, which will allow you to work with international clients.
