Job description:
The CCIE Engineer is a high visibility role and the engineer selected will lead the redesign of a large-scale network/data center infrastructure and be the right-hand network engineer to the CIO.
The candidate would come with:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
- 7 yrs of experience in the Networking Industry.
- Customer-facing experience is an advantage. Preferably from TAC and POC expertise.
Must Skills: - CCIE certification.
- POC experience and solution testing experience.
Good knowledge in:
L2, L3 protocol in Datacom domain,
Protocol experience including LDP, RSVP, L2VPN, L3VPN, Segment-Routing, VPLS, VPWS, MPLS, MPLS-TP, OSPF, BFD, BGP, VRRP, RIP, OSPFv3, RIPNG, ISIS, OSPFv2, BGP-VPLS, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLAN, VRRP, Multicast, OTN, OLT.
Bird’s eye view of role:
- Proactively identify, diagnose, analyze and troubleshoot the issues on customer networks.
- Taking over escalated issues from L1s in a timely manner & and working with various stakeholders such as customers/engineering to arrive at a swift resolution.
- Give constructive feedback on the process and the tools to improvise the same.
- Research alternative solutions or workarounds.
