Sourcing Recruiter

Overview

Calspan is seeking a Sourcing Recruiter with a creative approach to meeting our recruitment needs due to continued growth.  This individual will lead our search efforts as we expand our technical talent base across the Calspan enterprise. Responsibilities

• Identify and implement an innovative strategy to include sourcing, screening, and identifying qualified applicants with a focus on engineering and technical positions.
• Leverage sources such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate databases, professional organizations, and community associations.
• Utilize passive and direct sourcing techniques to identify and attract candidates.
• Proactively and continually, source, develop and maintain a viable pipeline and network of qualified talent for current and future openings.
• Use a variety of sourcing methods, business intelligence, and market data to provide ongoing sourcing support.

Qualifications

Preferred Education / Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline
• 5 years of corporate recruitment experience, engineering industry preferred; or
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

Preferred Knowledge & Ability:

• Advanced-level knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Seekout, Boolean search, applicant tracking software, social media and external database searches.
• Strong working knowledge of technical candidate sourcing.
• Exhibits competence in penetrating new markets and sources to target potential candidates.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of sourcing process and successfully manage a high volume workload.
• Prior experience in a high-volume setting that requires a sense of urgency, ability to manage competing demands, and maintain adaptability and flexibility.
