- Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
- Effectively communicates with all patient populations and staff by implementing organization-wide communication techniques as a daily practice.
- Effectively advocates for quality patient safety and satisfaction as a daily practice.
Job Summary:Pro-actively identifies potential patient admissions and coordinates discharges from the Emergency Department to lower levels of care. Proactive engagement with Emergency Department providers and staff is essential in performance of position requirements.Education:Position requires an Associate's degree in Nursing. BSN or Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred.Registration/Certification/Licensure:Active Maryland state RN license.Experience:Position requires 3-5 years experience performing direct care nursing in a hospital setting, preferably in the Emergency Department, or in case management.Other Requirements:
