Production Associate

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Associate to join our team. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to production and assembly in a warehouse setting. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

· Full time position working in manufacturing facility

• Will Assist in fabricating displays for retail stores
• Comfortable using hand tools, such as saw, drill, hammer, tape measure, etc.
• Position requires candidate with ability to pay attention to detail: Ability to make things level and square.
• Manual Dexterity: Steady hands are needed.
• Measuring Skills: Basic ruler skills are required.
• Strength: Ability to lift wood and other objects.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Not every job is the same; need to be able to find any discrepancy’s before it becomes too late
• Stamina: Can be long days standing and walking around
• Very comfortable atmosphere to work
• Rewarding job seeing your work in local supermarkets
• Operate material handling equipment to move products and materials within the warehouse
• Follow production schedules and work orders to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times

Skills:
- Experience operating material handling equipment
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with power tools
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools for fabrication and assembly tasks
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems is a plus

Previous experience in production, manufacturing in the millwork industry;

· Specifically familiar with plastic laminates and casegoods

· Some familiarity with blueprints and technical drawings

· Some familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment

· Ability to handle physical workload

· Ability to lift 50 lbs or more

· Ability to stand on feet for 8 hours

· Problem-Solving Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
