What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Technician position at CAM?
Position Summary:
Implements health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines for employees and department safety.
- Maintains presence in the field/operating area to ensure personnel are compliant to company and client policies in the areas of HSE.
- Interacts with personnel, clients, subcontractors, regulatory agencies and other entities to ensure standards, codes and regulatory requirements are maintained.
- Reviews Field Auditing program to ensure leading indicators are being reviewed and addressed.
- Maintains working knowledge of regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures in areas of HSE. Ensures all regulatory and company policies are available for review.
- Provide appropriate training for management, supervision and all associates with respect to HSE policy, practices and procedures.
- Maintains site HSE records to meet company and regulatory requirements.
- Assists Site Management with Incident Investigations and Case Management.
- Assists in the development and implementation of systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analyses of HSE statics and best practices.

Qualifications - Internal
- Entry Level (Experience or training preferred)
- Industrial construction/maintenance industry experience preferred
- Must be familiar with OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations

Pay: $32.00 - $33.00 per hour
