Who We Are Looking For :
The Unified Communications System Administrator participates in the operations of Cambia’s communications environment by providing technical, collaborative, system engineering, configuration, administration, and support.
This includes configuring and maintaining our communications and collaboration platforms, developing procedures, site security, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.
This position must adhere to departmental policies and procedures including technical and architecture standards, production implementation standards, regular status reporting and providing work estimates and time tracking.
Preferred Key Experience :
Design, configure, deploy, and maintain Oracle Session Border Controllers or similar SBC interface, routing tables, voice gateways, and audio codes.
Create, configure and manage a complex dial plan across multiple platforms.
Familiar with industry standards like Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP)
Manage and support Enterprise Voice, and Teams Telecom, unified messaging including voicemail, hunt
groups and call recording.
Familiar with call center phone systems, like the Nice CXone InContact or other call center
What You Bring to Cambia :
Qualifications (Not limited to) :
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
3 years of experience in a telecommunications and / or mail & messaging environment, including, but not limited to VoIP and server-based faxing / document management system administration, infrastructure planning, design, implementation and maintenance
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Attributes (Not limited to) :
Must be familiar with the following : current telecommunications technology, industry standards for carrier interfaces, transport framing, protocols, IP networking, including switching, routing, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, Real Time Protocol, H.
323, MGCP, SCCP, SIP and SRTCP, Outlook, Outlook Web App, Microsoft Office Communicator, Live Meeting, scripting languages and RightFax.
Experience with server-based document management and / or fax system management, monitoring and administration.
Experience working with ITIL and / or COBIT methodologies.
Knowledge in Microsoft Exchange messaging including troubleshooting, system monitoring, and administration.
Must be familiar with infrastructure management techniques such as change management, problem management, release management, configuration management and / or system lifecycle.
Understands Microsoft and / or UNIX environment including common suites and core business applications.
What You Will Do at Cambia :
Provides excellent customer service by continuously monitoring the work queue for trouble tickets, performing basic troubleshooting and problem resolution, responding with timely status updates to customer issues and requests ensuring their needs are met as well as raising issues that are outside of your current skill set.
Accountable for researching and solving software issues and collaborating with vendors and other support teams regarding product or infrastructure problems.
Provides updates to customers, team members and management on work assignments, issues, and accomplishments.
Support and administer communications systems. Communications systems include Microsoft Exchange / Outlook, Teams Telecom / Enterprise Voice, InContact, Teams and SharePoint.
These systems are used for communications via voice, instant message, and email.
Documents, plans, scripts, installs, and configures patching and performance tuning in support of after-hours upgrades and maintenance.
Supports system checkout efforts after upgrades, scheduled changes, and outages.
Assist with the creation, editing, and developing support documentation, this includes technical build and end user documents.
Continuously monitors systems for alerts and review usage and activity reports, making adjustments to ensure optimized user-experiences.
Initiate process and system improvements based on industry trends. Takes actions to ensure maximum systems stability and availability.
Works as an active team member for joint success of projects, taking ownership, and providing timely updates for assigned action items and deliverables.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Work primarily performed in an office / remote office environment.
Travel may be required for meetings or conferences.
The expected hiring range for a Unified Comm Admin II is $82.4k-$111.5k an hour depending on skills, experience, education, and training;
relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 10%. The current annual full salary range for this role is $77 Low / $97k MRP / $127k High.
